Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey recently left fans shocked by announcing a break from acting, sparking confusion that it was a retirement declaration.
After issuing a clarification, the actor explained the misunderstanding, attributing it to the post’s language, which many found hard to comprehend.
“The problem was that I wrote a lot of English in that post; many people couldn’t understand it, hence I issued a clarification,” Vikrant shared. Speaking at the Times Network India Economic Conclave, he elaborated on his decision to step back, emphasizing his desire to improve as an actor. “I feel the need to improve myself to truly be worth people’s time and money,” he explained.
Reflecting on his recent achievements, including the success of 12th Fail and Sabarmati Report, Vikrant admitted feeling creatively saturated after working 284 days in a year. “I questioned what more an actor could achieve after this,” he said.
Vikrant also spoke of his gratitude for his career’s progress. “The past few years have been truly phenomenal,” he said. Recalling his humble beginnings, he fondly remembered the moment he watched The Sabarmati Report with the Prime Minister, highlighting the profound significance of his journey.
In his December 2 Instagram post, Vikrant hinted at a “final meeting” with fans in 2025.
