9-day school holiday schedule announced for February in UAE

Schools across the UAE have announced their holiday schedules for February, with varying break durations based on academic calendars.

A full week off will be observed from Monday, February 10, to Friday, February 14, giving students and staff a nine-day break when including the weekends.

Some schools will have a shorter break from Wednesday, February 12, to Friday, February 14, allowing students a five-day holiday with the weekend.

A few schools will have a two-day break on Thursday, February 13, and Friday, February 14, resulting in a four-day holiday, with classes resuming on Monday, February 17.

With Ramadan expected to start on March 1, schools are preparing to shorten working hours for staff and students observing the holy month. Teachers have assured parents that the syllabi will be adjusted to ensure a smooth learning experience despite the reduced hours.
