PM Shehbaz Sharif pays tribute to bravery, courage of Pakistan Armed Forces

On the sixth anniversary of Operation Swift Retort, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the bravery, courage, and professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces, saying, “On February 27, 2019, the Pakistan Air Force sent a clear message to the enemy.”

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that the armed forces have proven that our soldiers are always ready to ensure national security.

He emphasized that Pakistan possesses full capability to defend its borders and that the country gave a fitting response to India’s regional aggression.

“Through Operation Swift Retort, the Pakistan Air Force demonstrated its unwavering commitment to defending the nation. The Pakistan Armed Forces are fully capable of countering any aggression and remain ever-ready to protect the homeland,” he said.

The Prime Minister added, “The entire nation, including myself, takes immense pride in our courageous armed forces. They have made great sacrifices for the defense of our country.”
