Marka-e-Haq Heroes: PAF pilots honored for destroying Indian aircraft

ISLAMABAD: The names of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pilots who shot down Indian aircraft in the historic “Marka-e-Haq” have finally been made public. In a special ceremony, President Asif Ali Zardari awarded these brave airmen, fulfilling the nation’s wish to know the faces, names, and ranks of its heroes.

These PAF “falcons” not only destroyed Indian fighter jets in direct combat but also took down the enemy’s S-400 air defence system. Their skill and courage ensured that the enemy could no longer threaten Pakistan from the skies.

Officials described them as the pride of the nation, the men who turned the air battle into a symbol of Pakistan’s strength and resilience. Their actions in “Marka-e-Haq” lifted Pakistan’s name with honor before the entire world.

History now records the honoured pilots’ names and ranks as the defenders who safeguarded Pakistan’s skies during one of its most decisive air victories.
