Gaza: At least 91 Palestinians were killed on Saturday as Israeli air and ground assaults intensified across the Gaza Strip, with more than 45 fatalities reported in Gaza City alone, according to the local authorities.

Despite repeated Israeli military advisories urging civilians to evacuate to central and southern Gaza for their safety, Gaza’s Government Media Office has accused Israel of deliberately targeting those very areas. In a statement released Saturday, the office reported that 1,903 people have been killed in 133 attacks on central and southern governorates since August 11—approximately 46 percent of all reported deaths during that time.

“The so-called humanitarian zones are a deadly illusion,” the statement read, calling on the international community to act decisively to halt what it described as the “systematic targeting of civilians.” It warned that continued silence from world powers constitutes a “green light for further massacres.”

In central Gaza, al-Shifa Hospital has been inundated with casualties since the early hours of Saturday. Among the most recent incidents, a family evacuating in a vehicle was hit by an Israeli drone strike, killing four people instantly.

Eyewitnesses says,  the roads are filled with displaced residents fleeing on foot and in vehicles, only to be pursued by drones and fighter jets.

Footage and eyewitness reports from the ground describe harrowing scenes of chaos, destruction, and despair, as families scramble for shelter with no safe refuge in sight.

Human rights organizations have echoed calls for immediate international intervention, warning that the situation has deteriorated into a full-blown humanitarian catastrophe. So far, no official response has been issued by the Israeli military regarding the latest casualty figures or accusations of targeting civilian zones.

The bombardment continues as night falls over Gaza, with fears that the death toll may rise even further.
