Dera Ismail Khan: Two police personnel were martyred when terrorists targeted an armoured police vehicle in a remote-controlled bomb attack.
According to District Police Officer (DPO) Sajjad Ahmed, the incident occurred on Hathala–Galoti Road near the village of Malang, where terrorists detonated an explosive device as the police ARV passed by. The blast resulted in the martyrdom of two policemen and left four others injured.
The DPO said the martyred personnel were Driver Muhammad Ramzan and Constable Saifur Rehman.
He added that the injured officials — Havaldar Shahid, Constable Mehboob Alam, Asif, and Kifayat — were immediately shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.
