KARACHI: A lioness at Karachi Zoo has given birth to three healthy cubs, officials confirmed. Veterinary examinations declared the newborns completely healthy, and the zoo has planned special care before gradually introducing them to the public.
According to a spokesperson for the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), the cubs were born on 16 November, and veterinary examinations have declared them completely healthy.
The spokesperson added that Mayor Karachi, Murtaza Wahab, has instructed officials to provide special care for the lion cubs.
However, the cubs will not be displayed to the public immediately and will be gradually introduced after receiving veterinary clearance.
Mayor Wahab described the birth as a joyful event for the city and wildlife enthusiasts, highlighting that recent improvements at Karachi Zoo are yielding positive results.
