Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met the Pakistan Under-19 cricket team at GHQ in Rawalpindi and warmly congratulated the young players on winning the Under-19 Asia Cup.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Field Marshal said the historic victory of the Under-19 team is a matter of pride for the entire nation and reflects the players’ discipline, teamwork, and hard work.
He added that Pakistan’s youth are the country’s greatest asset and its bright future, and stressed that young cricketers should act as ambassadors of the nation by maintaining high professional standards and representing the national identity with pride.
Encouraging the players, he said this success should be carried forward in the future through continued dedication and commitment.
The Under-19 team described the Field Marshal’s encouragement as an honour and a source of motivation, and expressed their determination to achieve more successes for the country.
