Motorola is gearing up to release a special FIFA World Cup 2026 edition of its foldable Razr smartphone on January 6, 2026, alongside the Motorola Signature flagship, previously known as the Edge 70 Ultra. The announcement was teased in a video posted on @MotorolaUS on Friday, highlighting the World Cup 2026 logo on the back of the device.
The FIFA World Cup edition of the Motorola Razr is expected to carry the same specifications as the Motorola Razr 60, featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Pricing is anticipated to be around $399 in the initial regions announced. While hardware specifications remain largely unchanged, the World Cup edition will likely feature special design elements, such as customised wallpapers, football-themed apps, and UI tweaks aimed at fans and collectors.
The Razr series has long been praised for combining a nostalgic flip-phone design with modern foldable technology. This special edition is expected to attract both tech enthusiasts and football fans who want a unique collectible device.
By launching ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Motorola aims to capitalise on the global excitement surrounding the tournament.
Alongside the FIFA World Cup Razr, the Motorola Signature series will also debut, marking a potentially major day for the company. While the launch focuses on aesthetics and branding rather than hardware upgrades, the cosmetic changes are likely to make the FIFA edition a standout in the foldable phone market.
