Islamabad: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), severe and unsettled weather is expected to hit large parts of the country in the coming days.

In upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir, dense cloud cover is expected, with heavy rainfall, powerful gusts, thunderstorms, and snowfall, particularly in hilly regions. Chitral, Swat, Dir, Kohistan, Shangla, and Battagram may also experience rain and snow.

Similarly, Gilgit-Baltistan and northwestern Balochistan are forecast to remain overcast, with stormy conditions and possible snowfall. Mansehra, Abbottabad, Buner, Khyber, Bajaur, Kurram, and Waziristan may face cloudy skies, strong winds, thunderstorms, and precipitation.

Murree, Galiyat, and nearby hilly areas are expected to experience intensely cold weather with cloudy skies and rain or snowfall in the evenings and nights.

Islamabad and its surrounding areas will remain cold with partly cloudy skies, while Punjab and upper Sindh may witness dense fog during night and early morning hours, reducing visibility.

In southern Balochistan, Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, and Qila Saifullah are likely to see rainfall and snowfall, while Noshki, Harnai, Zhob, Qalat, and Musa Khel may face stormy conditions with strong winds and thunderstorms.pakistan weather

Further south, Barkhan, Sibi, Loralai, Musa Khel, Turbat, Gwadar, and Jiwani are forecast to experience rainfall, and Lasbela, Kech, Awaran, Chagai, Panjgur, Khuzdar, Washuk, and Kharan may encounter intense rain accompanied by fierce winds and thunderstorms, posing potential hazards for residents.
