ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation on Saturday evening with Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman to discuss the evolving regional situation.
During the call, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the recent Israeli attack on Iran and the subsequent incidents affecting certain Gulf countries, describing them as deeply concerning developments that threaten regional peace and stability.
He warned that such actions are highly dangerous and could further aggravate tensions in an already volatile region.
The Prime Minister conveyed Pakistan’s complete solidarity and unwavering support for the Saudi leadership during this critical time. He reaffirmed that Pakistan stands firmly with its Saudi brothers and sisters under all circumstances.
Shehbaz Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to safeguarding Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
The Prime Minister also emphasized that Pakistan is ready to play a constructive and positive role in promoting peace and stability in the region.
He expressed hope that, with the blessings of the holy month of Ramadan, the region would soon witness peace, harmony, and lasting stability.
