Keanu Reeves shares life lessons from his passion for motorcycle racing

Reeves said motorcycle racing is more than just competition.

Actor Keanu known worldwide for his action roles, is now sharing a different side of himself.

Reeves says his passion for motorcycle racing has taught him valuable life lessons about teamwork, ambition and overcoming challenges.

The John Wick star and motorcycle builder Gard Hollinger recently launched their own professional racing team to compete in the Moto America Super Hooligan National Championship.

Their journey is featured in the six-part documentary series, “Hooligans:The ARCH Racing Project”, which premiered on July 12.

Furthermore Reeves said motorcycle racing is more than just competition. He described it as “controlled chaos” and said it offers an opportunity to tell meaningful human stories.

“It’s about building a team, ambition, vision, creating something you love, sharing it with the world and overcoming challenges. It’s American tradition,” Reeves said.

Reeves and Hollinger said the lessons from racing can be applied to everyday life. “The internal wanting to win by overcoming personal challenges,” Reeves said.

Reeves added, “Emotion, in a weird way, is the one thing we can all share. We all have that in common.”

For Reeves, the roar of the engine represents more than racing it reflects passion, perseverance and the pursuit of something meaningful beyond Hollywood.
