SEOUL: BTS member Jung Kook’s solo debut single “Seven” has achieved another major milestone after spending its 159th week on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, extending its record as the longest charting song by an Asian act in the chart’s history.
The track, released as Jung Kook’s first solo single, continued its global success on the Billboard chart dated Aug. 8, 2026. The song climbed 28 positions this week to rank No. 157, showing strong international popularity more than three years after its release.
“Seven” has continued to maintain its presence on music platforms worldwide, becoming one of the most successful solo releases by a K-pop artist. The song also made history by becoming the first track by an Asian act to surpass 3.04 billion streams on Spotify.
On the Billboard Korea “Global K-songs” chart, Jung Kook’s songs “Seven,” “Standing Next to You” and “3D” have each remained on the chart for 36 weeks.
