Rents for residents to be fixed for 3 years in Dubai

A new law regarding residence in Dubai has been introduced according to which rents should be fixed for three years in Dubai.

Al-Bayan, an Arabic daily, reported on Thursday that rents in Dubai should be fixed for three years following the signing of a rental agreement contract.

Sultan Butti bin Mejren, the Director-General of the Dubai Land Department (DLD), said notification to this effect would be issued soon.

Mejren said that a fixed rental price would boost tenants’ confidence in Dubai.

According to details, the new law is applicable from the date a tenant signs a rental agreement contract.

Sheikh Mohammed launches Dubai Leaders program

AE Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum launched the “Dubai Leaders” program on Saturday.

As per the details, Sheikh Mohammed announced the launch of Dubai Leaders programme on Twitter. “The aim is to ensure that there are qualified leaders who are able to continue the process of building in the same spirit and with the same leadership culture,” Sheikh Mohammed tweeted.
