RAWALPINDI: Okara Formation at Khairpur Tamewali Ranges in Bahawalpur conducted the field fire and battle inoculation exercise, said the military’s public affairs wing said in a statement on Thursday.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabian (KSA) Armed Forces delegation led by Brigadier General Amer Moghram H Al Shehri witnessed the exercise, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The visiting Saudi Arabian delegation appreciated the concept, skilful planning and professional conduct of the exercise and lauded training standards and operational readiness of the participating troops said the ISPR.
Faculty members and students of different schools and colleges also witnessed the military training activities.
On November 23, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa had remarked that the “battle-hardened” Pakistan Army was ready to “defend the motherland at all costs”.
“We are a battle-hardened army that has rendered innumerable sacrifices in the line of duty and are ready to defend our motherland at all costs,” General Bajwa had said while meeting the forward troops in Bedian.

During the visit, the army chief was briefed by the local formation commander of the situation. He had also expressed satisfaction over the high standard of operational readiness and morale of troops. Commander Lahore Corps Lieutenant General Muhammad Abdul Aziz was also with the COAS.
