Her beach vacation comes only days after her ex-boyfriend Shawn Mendes, 23, released a new song about their split.
As she went along the dunes and had a bath in the water, the musician let it all hang out.
She accessorised with black sunglasses and gold jewellery. Cabello accessorised with large hoops and piled chain necklaces.
Her dark hair was sloppy as it cascaded down her shoulders and down her back, ultimately becoming moist from her plunge in the surf.
At times, the Cuban-born beauty was spotted wearing an oversized white linen blouse and carrying a pair of white shoes. As she strolled in her string bikini, the artist carried her possessions in a straw beach bag.
Under her sunglasses, she went makeup-free, showcasing her natural beauty with only a dab of lipgloss.
She cooled off under an umbrella while lounging in a blue and white striped beach chair at times.
As she rested over the weekend, she kept herself distracted with a book called All We Can Save.
Meanwhile, her ex Shawn revealed to Extra earlier this week that his new song When You’re Gone was inspired by their separation.
The musician stated that he wrote it exactly one month after they split up. ‘After a month, you sort of start having all the recollections of everything that happened, and all the memories of so many great things… and I was writing about it,’ he explained.
Mendes went on to say that he let his ex-girlfriend hear the song before publishing it, explaining, ‘Camila and I have always been writers for as long as we’ve known each other, so we understand what that means.’ And we understand what it entails. And there will always be openness between us.’
