- A jury in Fairfax, Virginia has voted in favour of Johnny Depp after seven weeks of dramatic evidence in the $100 million Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard defamation trial, although the actor was not there.
- According to an individual close to the Oscar nominee,58, the Pirates of the Caribbean star was unable to attend the trial owing to business commitments.
- Johnny wrote, “The Jury handed me my life back,” he later said. “The truth never dies.”
“Mr. Depp will not be physically present for today’s 3 p.m. verdict and will be watching from the United Kingdom due to already booked business commitments established before to the trial.”
Meanwhile, the 58-year-old released an emotional statement shortly after the findings in his defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard were read aloud.

The Kentucky native has been in the United Kingdom for at least a few days, visiting his buddy Jeff Beck’s concert on Sunday, May 29, and appearing on stage as a guest.

Depp also performed with the guitarist, 77, on Monday, May 30, and Tuesday, May 31, in London. The actor’s ex-girlfriend Kate Moss, who testified about their affair last week, attended the latter.
