Clips to Reels is a new feature from the Facebook Gaming platform that looks a lot like TikTok. With the Clips to Reels feature, people who make content will be able to turn gameplay clips into reels. Last month, we heard that Facebook was adding a feature called “clip to Reels,” which gave content creators a new way to cut long videos down to 60 seconds in Creator Studio. But this was only possible on PC with Creator Studio. Facebook Gaming took a step forward by announcing that the new feature is now available to partners and level-up creators. This will make it easier to turn gameplay clips into reels.

With clipping reels for gaming, content makers may trim streaming video to fit in a vertical format mobile consumers can see. Everyone can view their game when the streamer’s face cam appears in the lower left corner of the PC screen. Now that video makers have greater control, they can place the face cam on top and gaming footage at the bottom.

The creator Studio clips library made the process easier by letting content creators cut and join clips to make them the right length for Reels. They did this by cutting out parts of clips and joining them together. Once the clip is ready, they can share it on Reel with the original audio or add music, stickers, or GIFs to make it more interactive. Done? Now, they would have to download this reel and re-upload it to Facebook and Instagram.
