Android 14 is developing new settings for all of your regional prefer
Google is apparently developing new settings for its future system software update, “Android 14,” which would allow users to change all regional preferences without having to navigate to each application’s settings menu.
According to Android Police, a hidden system settings page called “Regional Preferences” was discovered in Android 14 DP1.
Users will be able to define system-wide settings for temperature units, calendar format, the first day of the week, and number system.
With the new options enabled, applications will no longer need to ask for or assume user preferences.
According to the report, users may still have the option to choose the application’s default, so that regional preferences do not predominantly dictate the app settings.
It was revealed last month that Android 14 will begin preventing the installation of programs that target outdated versions of Android in order to help lower the risk of infection.
Meanwhile, according to another claim, Google’s impending system software update will modify the sharing sheet for Android devices.
