Awkward interation between Ronaldo and McGregor
On Saturday night, Cristiano Ronaldo and Conor McGregor, the most well-liked fighters in the UFC, attended the Day of Reckoning fight night in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to watch Anthony Joshua vs. Otto Wallin.
Although the two had already had multiple encounters, many were taken aback by their most recent encounter, as Ronaldo largely ignored the Irish superstar over the majority of the time they were seated next to one another.
When McGregor arrived, Ronaldo was already seated; the Portuguese player ignored the 34-year-old’s presence, and the two did not even exchange handshakes.
After settling down, McGregor started talking to Turki Alalshikh, who was seated next to Ronaldo, after noticing that the former Manchester United player had not responded. The 38-year-old sat silently with an uncomfortable expression on his face while the two conversed for a good thirty seconds. He did, however, end up grinning.
But, after a few awkward minutes, the two got along and were also seen having a good time while comparing watches, so their contact wasn’t totally boring.

Given their enormous success, it wouldn’t be incorrect to refer to Ronaldo and McGregor as the “faces” of their respective sports. They are two of the most well-known athletes in the world.
It is well known that the former Real Madrid footballer gets along well with a wide range of athletes from various sports. In the past, he has had meetings with legendary tennis players Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov, and one of the greatest players in NBA history, Michael Jordan.
It is important to mention that Anthony Joshua outclassed Otto Wallin, with the British fighter stopping his opponent with a barrage of blows in the fifth round.
Joshua triumphed in three fights to close out 2023 with a perfect record.
