Did Rolex company share its 90% profit in charity?

Rolex is not like most other watch companies. In fact, Rolex conducts business in a totally different manner. You could say that Rolex’s slogan, “The Rolex Way,” applies to the way the corporation is run.

The Wilsdorf Foundation owns the Rolex watch manufacturer, Rolex S.A. Rolex was founded in 1945 by Hans Wilsdorf, who was the company’s founder. The foundation was established to commemorate his wife Florence Frances May Wilsdorf-Crotty, who died in 1944.

They pay their employees and give the rest of their profit to charity, that’s why they are considered a ‘non-profit company’.

Non-profit does not mean that the organization is not interested in making money and experiencing positive results. However, Rolex is different from its competitors, is that it has no owners or investors who may want to have a say in how the company is run

Therefore Rolex donates a large part of its profits to charity and social causes.
