Karan regularly shares happy moments and pieces from his daily life because he has such a large fan base. However, the filmmaker has recently kept his social media game low-key, only posting about his professional responsibilities.

When asked about it on a talk show, Karan admitted that he has limited himself. And that his social media feed is now mostly focused on his films. He explained that for him, it’s a platform that he uses to connect with the outside world, and that it’s his work.

He claims that it defines him, and that if he has a film coming out, he will use social media to raise awareness or discuss it.

He concluded by saying that his life’s foundation is simple: “Love me, hate me for heaven’s sake, don’t be indifferent to me because it’s something that might kill me.” Indifference is something I can’t live with.”
