Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, has strongly denied allegations that the Queen of Tears actor was in a long-term relationship with the late actress Kim Sae Ron.

The rumors, resurfacing after her tragic passing last month, were spread by the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute, which claimed their alleged relationship began when Sae Ron was 15.

In a video released on March 10, the YouTube channel stated it had verified the claims with Kim Sae Ron’s parents and included a phone interview with a family member. Kim Soo Hyun’s agency quickly dismissed the allegations and warned of legal action.

In response, Garosero mocked the lawsuit threat, writing, “Even BTS once said they would take legal action against us—how did that turn out? Everyone enlisted in the army.”

Kim Sae Ron’s father, however, announced plans to sue the YouTuber for contributing to his daughter’s distress during her DUI controversy.

Garosero further accused reporter Lee Jin Ho of harassment, urging his removal from YouTube. The controversy continues as Kim Soo Hyun’s agency prepares to take legal steps to protect the actor’s reputation.

“There is a significant chance of irreparable harm if marginal conversations with high-profile individuals with no relevance to the case were to fall into the wrong hands,” attorney Meryl Governski stated, according to Page Six. She also accused the opposing side of leveraging confidential materials for PR advantage.

Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, argued that his client has the right to defend himself without damaging Lively’s reputation. “Because there are powerful people in the industry… somehow there is a different law that applies to them,” Freedman remarked, referencing the alleged PR influence at play.
