NEPRA increase electricity price
National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) issued the notifications to increase and decrease of prices.
NEPRA increased Rs. 1 and 78 paisa because of fuel price adjustment in July while Rs. 13 paisa will be decreased after the fuel price adjustment in June.
According to the notification price per unit will be increased by a ruppe and 78 paisas which will be charged in the bills of October, after this rise in price customers will pay 24 billion 60 million.
On the other hand Rs. 13 paisa will be decreased per unit because of the decease in price of petrol in June.
Customers will get the relief of Rs. 60 million which will adjust in October.
Notification also mentioned that the one who uses less than 50 units will not get any relief or load.
