The 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid is emerging as a strong competitor to the long-established Toyota Prius, standing out with its distinctive design, impressive power, and remarkable fuel efficiency. Known for its practicality, value, and enjoyable driving experience, the Civic now delivers a nimble drive with advanced safety features in both sedan and hatchback styles. For those looking to elevate their driving experience, the Civic Hybrid is available in Sport and Sport Touring trims.

New Civic Hybrid- Overview

The new hybrid sedan boasts several cosmetic updates, including a new front mesh grille, redesigned headlights, and a sleeker body style. The front fascia is more aggressive, featuring the Honda logo on the hood. The taillights now have a darker tint, and the wheels are designed for an aerodynamic effect.

While the 2025 non-hybrid variant comes in two trims—LX sedan and Sport sedan with hatchback body style—the Civic Hybrid will be available in Sport and Sport Touring trims, both in sedan and hatchback styles. Additionally, two new colors, Sand Dune Pearl and Blue Lagoon Pearl, will be introduced this year.

The new Civic is equipped with a 2-liter, 4-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors, producing a combined 200 HP. It features front-wheel drive and offers regenerative braking at the driver’s discretion.

The company claims a fuel economy of 50 MPG, with three drive modes available: Eco, Normal, and Sport. A lithium-ion battery pack is located under the seats, though detailed information about the charging range and setup has not yet been disclosed by the OEM.

Upgraded Interior

The redesigned interior is spacious, comfortably seating five adults. It includes heated seats, a sunroof, dual-zone climate control, an expanded center console, ample storage, and a generous trunk.

Although the official delivery date for the new Honda Civic Hybrid hasn’t been announced, it’s anticipated to be released this summer, ready to compete with rivals like the Toyota Prius, Hyundai Elantra, and Toyota Corolla.
