
Gold Rate in Pakistan on Jan 1 Increases to Rs273,600 Per Tola
ISLAMABAD: The price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs2,000 per tola, reaching Rs276,400 on Monday compared to the previous day’s rate of Rs274,400, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also rose by Rs1,734, settling at Rs236,698 against Rs235,254. Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold climbed to Rs217,221 from Rs215,650.
Silver prices remained stable, with per tola and 10-gram rates holding at Rs3,400 and Rs2,914.95, respectively.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $20, rising to $2,652 per ounce from the previous rate of $2,632, the association reported.
