The Karachi University while announcing the open merit policy for the admissions of the academic session 2021, has changed the passing criteria for the candidates.
According to the sources, the university officials have changed the passing marks for the admission test of the various departments to 25 from 50.
Moreover, there are many other departments such as education, petroleum technology, special education, applied chemistry, environmental studies, applied physics, and chemical technology whose passing marks have been reduced to 40-45 from 50.
Besides this, the varsity has decreased the closing percentage for the bachelor’s admissions based on the intermediate exams.
Donor Seat Applications
- The university has also announced the opening of applications for the donor seats. The students can submit the application forms by 7th January 2021.
- The candidates have also to pay the fee challan of Rs. 3500/- at any UBL Branch before the due date.
- The candidates are required to attach scanned copies of academic certificates, CNIC, domicile, and passport size photographs.
- The schedule for the B.Com examination had been announced previously for the candidates in which they can apply till 31st December 2020.
