After Dr. Aamir Liaquat made insensitive remarks on the death of late Bollywood stars Sri Devi and Irrfan Khan, now singer Aima Baig has expressed her views regarding this act.

Taking to her Instagram story, Aima Baig has raised a question that why even Aamir Liaquat given platforms like game shows or transmissions through which he cracks his senseless jokes.

She aggressively wrote, “Why was Aamir Liaquat even given a platform? Let me guess…To disgrace our nation with his brainless jokes which btw only he finds humorous. #takeoffalready”

After his brainless remarks, host Aamir Liaqat has later apologized on Twitter from anyone he might have hurt.

Pakistani showbiz’s star Adnan Siddiqui was invited as a guest on the live Ramadan transmission when Aamir Liaqat said that Bollywood celebrities who have worked with Adnan have passed away. He mentioned the names of Sri devi and Irrfan Khan.

He, while apologizing said, “On the show yesterday, I had a slip of tongue where I lost control of over the flow of my words. Such gaffes can happen in a live transmission and I regret saying what I said.

When I said those words, they didn’t seem like a big deal to me but now that I have thought about it I realize that I shouldn’t have said that. I am sorry for this mistake on my part.”

Aamir further added, “Artists from across the border are very dear and respectable to us. I also praised them in the next segment of the show but that didn’t go viral.

However, I sincerely apologize for the pain I might have caused to fans and followers around the world.”
