K-pop band Blackpink to play PUBG Mobile in gameplay show
Popular Korean pop band ‘Blackpink’ is now teaming up with online game...
Popular South Korean band Plackpink has landed in hot water as they were spotted cuddling a baby panda without sanitary gloves.
Residents in China have accused the girl band of harming the health of three-month-old Fu Bao.
A baby panda was featured in the trailer for Blackpink’s online reality show 24/365 with Blackpink. The video angered some Chinese fans.
Tens of thousands of people expressed outrage and they condemned the artists, who have pet dogs and cats, for potentially spreading dangerous germs to the panda.
Some netizens have also urged South Korea to return the panda to China.
On the other hand, Blackpink’s music label, YG Entertainment, said it had postponed airing the show in the wake of the criticism, but insisted that zookeepers and veterinarians were present during recording and that every precaution had been taken to protect the animal’s health.
