Sandra Oh, a Hollywood star, is reflecting on her ‘traumatising’ experience while filming Grey’s Anatomy.

During an interview with Willie Geist, the Killing Eve star admitted that the fame that came with her Grey’s Anatomy character was “traumatic” for her.

“The reason I’m saying that is because the circumstances you need to do your work in require a lot of privacy,” Oh explained.

“So when one loses one’s anonymity, you have to build skills to still try and be real,” she continued, adding that before seeking professional help, she couldn’t even go out because she had to hide herself in restaurants.

Oh revealed that she eventually found a good therapist who assisted her in “managing attention, managing expectation, and not losing her sense of self.”

“You just have to work at finding your way to stay grounded. And a lot of times that’s by saying no,” she added.
