T20 World Cup: India ‘qualifies’ for Mumbai airport, sparking a Twitter meme frenzy

As New Zealand blasted Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, Twitterati reacted with funny memes picturing India’s arrival at Mumbai airport following India’s elimination from the T20 World Cup.

Despite the fact that India’s failure to reach the semi-finals had been predicted due to the team’s poor performance throughout the competition, India was counting on Afghanistan to defeat New Zealand to increase their chances of reaching the final.
