However,  Nimra spoke to the BBC about the difficulties that Pakistani performers have encountered in the country. She believes that working in showbiz is difficult. She asked if, since the introduction of social media, things had grown better or worse for actresses.

She stated that traditionally, Pakistani artists have worked in a very challenging atmosphere due to their vulnerability.

She also stated that life remains challenging for Pakistani artists. Even social media has only served to increase the performers’ detractors. Pakistani performers must be cautious about what they put out there, and working in Pakistan is difficult even in this day and age.
