BLACKPINK concluded their two-day Born Pink concert in London with acclaim for their handling of a potentially deadly security scenario.

The Born Pink tour made its first stop in London, England. BLACKPINK is currently performing ten of its 45 scheduled gigs in Europe.

According to Koreaboo, the group’s debut performance in London took place at a venue with a capacity of 20,000. As there were only two concerts in the United Kingdom, the stadium was expected to be full.

According to fan testimonials, the front of the standing section became uncomfortably congested on the second day of the concert as the boisterous audience began to push.

Before the situation grew serious, members asked the crowd to move back to provide space when they observed the crowd swell.

During her solo performance, BLACKPINK member Jennie noticed someone being pushed back and was reminded of this “Safety is our top priority. We ask for your cooperation to please respect each other. Be mindful of each other (Especially no pushing please).”

Jennie also garnered notoriety when she humorously “called out” BLINKS for failing to retreat. She stated, “I don’t see anyone moving.”
