Kanye West publicly demanded Sean Diddy Combs’ release from prison. On Thursday night, the rapper took to social media to voice his support for Combs, who remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, West made a bold statement, urging others to speak up for the music mogul. In all capital letters, he wrote, “FREE PUFF.”

He then criticized celebrities for staying silent, saying, “ALL THESE CELEBRITY N—-S AND BITCHES IS P—Y YALL A WATCH OUR BROTHER ROT AND NEVER SAY S–T.”

The Yeezy founder expressed frustration over the entertainment industry’s treatment of artists, comparing Sean Diddy Combs’ situation to Chris Brown’s past controversies.

“We all watched them try to cancel Chris Brown, and nobody did anything,” West stated. He admitted, “I was p—y then too, Chris Brown. It’s ‘til the wheels fall off,” referencing his new song “Wheels Fall Off.”

West posted an Instagram video of himself on a FaceTime call with Combs’ son, Christian ‘King’ Combs. The 26-year-old smiled and spoke with Ye, appearing to be in good spirits, though the clip did not capture his voice.

In his caption, West reflected on how incarceration affects families. “For every son whose dad is locked up, right or wrong, I want y’all to listen to Dave Chappelle’s jokes very closely this time,” he wrote. “Let’s see how funny it gets when families are separated, especially Black families.”

Combs faces serious legal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. The court has denied him bail as he awaits his trial in May.

Last Thursday, prosecutors introduced new allegations against the rapper, claiming in court documents that he coerced two additional women into engaging in commercial sex acts. However, Combs’ legal team denies these claims.

Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, addressed the indictment in a statement, saying, “The latest indictment contains no new offenses.”

“The prosecution’s theory remains flawed. The government has added the ridiculous theory that two of Mr. Combs’ former girlfriends were not girlfriends at all but were prostitutes.” He also stated that Combs remains committed to fighting the charges.
