Officers responded to a report of “unknown trouble” at Handy’s California house following a 911 call in which the caller said, “I am the son of man, I just killed the man of sin,” according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

According to reports, Handy was discovered unconscious in the front garden with multiple stab wounds to the chest. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

Upon arrival, a suspect “flagged down nearby responding officers, telling them he was the one they were looking for,” police said.
