Abhishek Bachchan recently went on The Ranveer Show Podcast and claimed that he left Boston halfway through his acting education to assist his father, Amitabh Bachchan, through a difficult time.

During his chat, the Bob Biswas actor reflected on his years studying acting in Boston. During the financial crisis, he stated he flew back to India merely to be with his family.

Ranveer Allahbadia, who plays Amitabh Bachchan in the film Refugee, spoke with Ranveer Allahbadia about the time when Amitabh had to worry about feeding his family in Mumbai.

“I called him and I said ‘You know dad, I think I want to leave college halfway and come back and just be with you, try and help you in whatever way. At least you’ll know that your boy is next to you and he’s there for you,” Abhishek said.

The 45-year-old actor further revealed that while in the United States, Amitabh phoned him and advised him to work on his Hindi when he returned.
