BTS member V issues rare appeal over fan gatherings outside hotels

BTS is currently in the midst of its “ARIRANG” world tour.

BTS star V has broken his silence with a direct appeal to fans, urging them to stay away from the group’s hotels on its “ARIRANG” world tour as ongoing crowding takes a toll on his privacy and rest.

Posting Wednesday on the fan platform Weverse, V thanked fans for their continued support but asked them to respect the group’s private space while on tour.

He said the ability to move freely, eat at local restaurants, and experience everyday life while traveling has become increasingly difficult due to constant outside attention.

To illustrate the impact of his demanding schedule, V also shared data from his sleep tracker showing just two hours and 27 minutes of sleep, including only brief periods of deep and REM sleep.

The post highlighted the physical and mental strain placed on artists during intensive global touring schedules.

The appeal comes amid growing scrutiny over privacy violations targeting BTS members. Their agency, BigHit Music, has stepped up legal action against individuals involved in stalking, trespassing, and unauthorized attempts to approach the group’s private spaces.

BigHit Music recently confirmed that one suspect was prosecuted after being detained for three months on stalking and trespassing charges, later receiving a one-year suspended prison sentence with two years of probation.

The agency said the case reflects a broader pattern of invasive behavior that goes beyond typical fan interaction.

The company has repeatedly emphasized that loitering outside artists’ residences, hotels, or leaving unsolicited gifts is not fan behavior but a violation of privacy and safety laws. It added that it will continue pursuing strict legal measures to protect its artists.

BTS is currently in the midst of its “ARIRANG” world tour, which began in South Korea in March and has since expanded to Europe, with recent performances in Madrid marking one of the latest stops on the global tour.
