TORONTO: Canadian rapper Drake surprised women with cash rewards and luxury gifts during the third annual Strong Women, Stronger Drinks event at Toronto’s Casa Loma mansion, where he celebrated female professionals and encouraged networking among women from different industries.
The Grammy winning artist, known for his generous giveaways, welcomed guests at the event with a special gesture, according to reports, each attendee received $1,000 in cash before the celebration officially began.
During his speech, Drake explained that the idea behind the event was inspired by a previous gathering called “What Women Want,” which focused on bringing women together to connect, share experiences and build professional relationships.
The rapper said he admired the concept because it encouraged people to support and learn from each other. He added that the purpose of Strong Women, Stronger Drinks was to create a space where women from various fields could meet, exchange ideas and celebrate their achievements.

“Whether you’re growing, achieving new goals or somewhere in between,” Drake said, the event was designed to help women connect and celebrate their journeys.
However, the rapper’s speech was not the only highlight of the night. Videos shared on social media showed Drake giving away large cash prizes to guests, with some reports claiming the total value reached up to $100,000.
The event continued Drake’s reputation for surprising fans and guests with expensive gifts and memorable experiences. The rapper has previously gained attention for giving away cash, luxury items and other rewards during public appearances.
The celebration came after Drake released multiple projects, including “Iceman,” “Habibti” and “Maid of Honour,” in May. The artist remains one of the biggest names in global music, while his community focused events continue to attract public attention.
