Kate Middleton’s cancer fears leak out: ‘Got another chance with William’

Prince and Princess of Wales have clearly grown following their experience with cancer.

The cancer diagnoses of King Charles III and Catherine, Princess of Wales, made 2024 one of the most difficult years for the British royal family.

British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard shared her views on the royal couple during an interview with Fox News Digital.

According to Chard, the way Kate has approached public life, attended official events and interacted with Prince William shows she has “a real sense of renewal” and is “truly thankful for another chance.”

She said the couple’s experience has brought them even closer, adding that their gratitude is evident in the way they support each other.

Chard pointed to their appearance at the DMMI Royal Charity Polo Cup 2026, where Prince William kissed Kate on the cheek. She said the moment showed that the warmth and ease people see between them are not about grand public displays but about “two people who don’t take a single day together for granted.”

She also said partnership, family and a shared determination to focus on what matters most are at the heart of their relationship.

Toward the end of the interview, Chard said the Prince and Princess of Wales have clearly grown following their experience with cancer.

She added that the couple has “grown into themselves” and become older, wiser and more confident. According to Chard, they are stepping into their future roles with purpose while remaining grounded, comfortable and well-balanced as partners.
