King Charles, Queen Camilla, and other members of the British royal family will travel to Scotland this week to take part in the annual Royal Week celebrations.
The four-day event will run from June 30 to July 3, 2026. Prince William and Prince Edward will join the King and Queen for a series of ceremonial and public engagements during the visit.
According to source, the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh will be the main venue for many of the week’s events.
The programme includes the traditional Ceremony of the Keys, which officially marks the start of Royal Week, as well as an Investiture ceremony hosted by the King.
Other major events include the Order of the Thistle Service at St Giles’ Cathedral and a Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award celebration, which will bring the week’s activities to a close.
The Ceremony of the Keys will take place in the gardens of the Palace of Holyroodhouse on the opening day of Royal Week.
