Britney Spears’ Ex Jason Alexander, Arrested After Allegedly Crashing Her Wedding
- Jason Alexander was arrested for trespassing after allegedly crashing ex-Britney Spears’ wedding, police discovered he has a warrant for his arrest on unrelated charges elsewhere in California.
- He was accused of stealing and pawning a woman’s bracelet.
- Authorities plan to soon transfer him to Napa County so he can face 2016 charges of grand theft from a woman and buying and receiving stolen goods.
Jason Alexander, Britney Spears’ ex-husband, is facing even more legal issues than the trespassing and other charges he faces for allegedly interrupting her wedding to Sam Asghari.
Local police found the singer’s former husband is sought on two outstanding 2016 felony warrants for a separate case in Northern California, in which he was suspected of stealing and pawning a woman’s bracelet after he was apprehended at the Los Angeles-area venue this week. Authorities want to move him to Napa County soon so he may face accusations of grand theft from a lady and buying and receiving stolen goods, for which he was charged within 2016. Alexander, who is still in custody, does not have a counsel on file who can speak for him.
After allegedly crashing Britney and Sam’s wedding on June 9, Alexander was arrested and charged with trespassing, damage, and violence. The singer’s ex-husband, who married her in a Las Vegas ceremony in 2004, live-streamed his visit to the venue.

A representative for the Napa County Sheriff’s Office told, “We got the call from Ventura County, that he was in their possession.” “He has an active warrant in Napa County, which shows up in their system immediately. They wanted to know if we would pick them up or if he should be cited and released. And the idea is still to travel there and take him back to Napa County at this time. At this time, we don’t have a date scheduled for it. He must first resolve his difficulties with Ventura County.”

The woman called the sheriff’s department in 2016, saying Alexander had revealed to her that he had taken the bracelet and pawned it. According to the police, they examined the situation and discovered that he did sell the piece for $180 at a local pawn shop and assisted the woman in recovering it. According to the spokeswoman, prosecutors charged Alexander with the two felonies, and police filed an arrest warrant for him.
If Alexander fails to post his $20,000 bond for his warrant in Napa Valley, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department will contact him to arrange a pick-up date, according to the spokeswoman.
