The Saudi Ministry of Culture has announced to host the second edition of the world’s first traveling contemporary art biennale “BIENALSUR 2019” at Riyadh’s National Museum from Nov. 5 to Dec. 5.
This is for the first time BIENALSUR, the International Contemporary Art Biennial of South America, the greatest cultural event from Argentina, is being held in the Middle East.
Four Saudi artists, Sarah Abu Abdullah, Fatima Al-Banawi, Faisal Samra, and Ayman Zedani will present their works of art at BIENALSUR.
The event will close its second edition in the Kingdom after traveling across five continents and 43 cities of a score of countries at more than one hundred venues.
The culture Ministry of Saudi Arabia will organize the event in collaboration with National University of Tres de Febrero, Argentina.
The Saudi Ministry of Culture is hosting international events to attract international business and cultural events to the Kingdom.
