The government of Saudi Arabia has imposed curfew in main cities including the capital to fight coronavirus outbreak.

According to the statement, Curfews are prevented 24 hours a day throughout the cities of Riyadh, Tabuk, Dammam, Dhahran, and Hofuf, as well as throughout the governorates of Jeddah, Taif, Qatif and Khobar.

Tawaaf has been resumed on the Mataaf

Earlier on April 4, Saudi Arabia has extended the curfew in other cities too after the holy cities of Makkah and Madina until further notice as part of measures to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

Note that there are 1,663 active cases of coronavirus in Saudi Arabia. 25 people have died whereas 351 people have recovered.

Globally, there are 798,107 active cases of COVID-19, 227,750 people have recovered whereas 58,158 have died.
