UAE Sheikh invites Israeli President for a visit as both exchange messages

Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has invited Israeli President Reuven Rivlin to visit the UAE.

As per the details, President Rivlin sent a message to Sheikh Mohamed during an exchange of messages on Tuesday. They discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

The Israeli President has also extended an invitation to the Sheikh to visit Israel. He expressed appreciation for the efforts made to sign the peace deal as well.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Mohamed appreciated the cooperation that led to signing the peace agreement earlier. He invited the president to visit the UAE.

Earlier, the UAE and Israel had come under one page to sign a historic peace agreement to normalize ties.

In September, the White House had invited senior Democratic lawmakers to a ceremony in which representatives from the UAE and Bahrain will sign a deal with Israel to normalize relations.

According to the international news agency, the House has invited a great number of democrats to the signing ceremony that will take place on the White House South Lawn on Tuesday. 

US President Donald Trump will host the ceremony today where Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will sign agreements with Emirati Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al-Nahyan and Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al Zayani.

The UAE and Bahrain will become the third and fourth Arab states to step forward to normalize relations with Israel. Before that, Israel had signed peace agreements with Egypt in 1979 and Jordan in 1994.
