HORRIFIC situation ‘Russian soldiers are ABANDONED by colleagues who flee in a Z truck in a frantic withdrawal from Ukraine.’

THIS is the strange moment when Russian soldiers appear to be abandoned by their compatriots, who rush away in a “Z” marked vehicle in a disorderly withdrawal from Ukraine.

Drone footage shows a military truck speeding up a snowy slope while two desperate soldiers pursue after it on foot, amid allegations that Vladimir Putin’s hopeless men are surrendering in the face of fierce Ukrainian resistance.

In the video, many Russian troops can be seen gathered around a truck with the unmistakable Russian Z symbol on it.

The film, which was captured by a Ukrainian drone, then switches to the same vehicle driving up an ice hill while at least two troops race behind, having been abandoned by their teammates.

One soldier approaches the rear of the fleeing vehicle before falling and face-planting into the deep snow.

The date and location are not indicated in the clip, but according to Ukrainian accounts, the Russian regiment retreated from soldiers of the Ukrainian Ground Forces’ 93rd Mechanised Brigade.

The Centre for Strategic Communications for Ukraine’s Armed Forces has mocked the video.

“Another myth that ‘the world’s second army does not leave behind its own has been destroyed,” the Ukrainian agency claimed.

It comes as a UK spy head stated that Russian personnel are destroying their weapons and refusing to carry out instructions as Red Army casualties continue to rise.

More than 17,000 Russian troops have been killed, according to Ukrainian sources, since Putin ordered his killers to invade on February 24.

Vladimir Putin “massively underestimated” how difficult conquering Ukraine would be, yet he remains committed to his “personal war” even as his badly nourished and equipped forces surrender.

Despondent conscripts complained about being “thrown into the s**t” with non-functional 1940s guns.

Friendly fire has downed planes, and Russia’s “command and control is in turmoil,” according to GCHQ chief Sir Jeremy Fleming.

Demoralized Russian troops are allegedly switching sides as resolute Ukrainian forces continue to fight back Putin’s army.

Captured Russian troops have created their own unit and are training alongside their new Ukrainian compatriots.

A guy claiming to be a former Russian soldier claims to be a member of the so-called Freedom of Russia legion in a video broadcast on the Telegram app.

On Wednesday, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry announced on Telegram that commanders in this new legion are visiting incarcerated Russian troops to choose individuals who would swap sides and participate in Ukraine’s battle.

In a subsequent article, it was said that the “first volunteers” of ex-Russian forces had “already began” their training.

Soldiers on a tank ploughed over and murdered their brigade commander, Colonel Yuri Medvedev, last week.

It comes after dramatic video showed Russian tanks being decimated by Ukrainian forces while a driver desperately leapt out of one and fled for his life.

The automobiles erupt into fireballs after being fired, according to shocking footage.

Meanwhile, hundreds of Russian servicemen are said to have been bused out of the Chernobyl nuclear site with radiation illness after excavating tunnels in fallout-contaminated woodlands.

According to reports, seven buses carrying Putin’s men suffering from severe radiation sickness were transported from the exclusion zone to a hospital in Belarus.
