RUSSIA has apparently lost a seventh colonel since the conflict began, dealing another huge blow to Putin’s forces.

Ukraine said that it had “eliminated” Colonel Denis Kurilo, head of the country’s 200th independent motorised rifle brigade, in heavy battle near Kharkiv.

The Ukrainian news outlet unian.net published a photograph of the commander with a red cross across it, indicating his death.

He is the latest in a long line of Russian generals slain in the Ukrainian war since the invasion began on February 24.

According to the Ukrainian army’s press office, the 200th brigade sustained huge losses during a so-called “special military operation” in Ukraine’s east.

According to accounts, two battalion tactical units of the 200th were destroyed, resulting in the death of about 1,500 personnel.

Kurilo’s alleged death came on the 34th day of the war, after at least seven of Putin’s generals were killed in the nation.

In comparison, during ten years of harsh warfare in Afghanistan in the 1980s, the Soviet Union lost only five generals.

As of March 29, Russia has lost up to 17,200 servicemen in Ukraine, with tens of thousands injured.

It also comes as Russia declares that it would “dramatically decrease” its soldiers near the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv as their assault continues to flounder.

Fomin, and it comes as a new round of peace talks begins.

According to Fomin, Russian soldiers would be lowered in the Chernihiv region as well.

According to sources, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has been participating in peace discussions since the beginning.

The sanctioned Russian oligarch was apparently poisoned during the meetings, according to a source who said he had momentary blindness and peeling skin while in Kyiv.

Despite Abramovich’s spokeswoman verifying the tale, Ukraine denied any such poisoning occurred because two members of the Ukrainian delegation were also said to have exhibited symptoms compatible with poisoning.

The billionaire was spotted in Istanbul, bleary-eyed, ahead of the next round of peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.

Both nations are conducting discussions at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Since departing the UK earlier this month, the 55-year-old has been attempting to negotiate a solution to end the conflict.
