PUTIN’S Prada-clad Chechen warlord has been enlisted to lead the invasion of Ukraine.

Hardman Ramzan Kadyrov, who is notorious for his mediaeval torture methods, has been named lieutenant-general of Russia’s armed forces.

In the early days of the invasion, the former separatist rebel delivered a speech urging Volodymyr Zelensky to seek forgiveness from the Russian tyrant.

He was photographed wearing military fatigues and a pair of £1200 Prada Monolith boots during his speech.

According to local media, he has now arrived in the besieged city of Mariupol to oversee the invasion.

He reportedly met with General Andrey Mordvichev, commander of the 8th Army.

A spokesperson for the city mayor said on Monday that nearly 5,000 people have been killed in the city since Russian forces laid siege to it.

At least 300 civilians are said to have died after Russian troops bombed a city theatre where 1,200 terrified people were seeking refuge.

A squadron of 25 Russian bombers flying sorties over Mariupol every day is destroying the city.

Around 14,000 elite Russian troops surround the city, with many of the 400,000 residents surviving by drinking from puddles due to a lack of power and running water.

Bodies litter the streets, while others have been buried in mass graves because funerals are impossible to hold due to the constant bombardment.

In the city, Russian troops also reduced a school to rubble, where 400 civilians were sheltering when it was hit by thermobaric TOS-1A rockets, which can melt human organs.
