President Vladimir Putin’s invasion is simply the ‘beginning,’ according to ZELENSKY, who thinks Moscow wants to ‘conquer more nations.’

The Ukrainian President has referred to remarks made by a Russian officer, who stated that Moscow wants to gain control of southern Ukraine because it would provide access to Moldova’s rebel Transnistria.

According to Zelensky, this comment demonstrates Russia’s desire to conquer other countries.

“Well, this merely supports what I have warned many times: the Russian invasion of Ukraine was only intended as a beginning, and thereafter they want to seize other nations,” Zelensky said in his nightly speech.

“Of course, we will defend ourselves for as long as it takes to derail the Russian Federation’s ambitions.” But all nations that believe in the triumph of life over death, like us, must fight with us. Because we are the first on this route, they must assist us. And who will be the next victim?

“If somebody who may be the next wants to play it safe today and stay neutral, this is the riskiest bet.” Because if you don’t, you’ll lose everything.”

In reaction to Maj Gen Rustam Minnekayev’s remarks, Moldova summoned the Russian ambassador.
