Russians steal $5 million worth of farm vehicles from Ukraine

Russian troops have stolen all the equipment from a farm equipment store in Melitopol and sent it to Chechnya.

The thieves were unable to utilize any of the equipment after travelling over 700 miles, as it had been electronically locked.

Beyond extensive theft of households, there have been an increasing number of stories in recent weeks of Russian forces stealing farm equipment.

It includes, grain, and even building supplies.

However, the theft of significant agricultural equipment from a John Deere outlet indicates that the heist is becoming more coordinated.

As Russian military transport is being used as part of the heist.

The equipment was taken from an Agrotek dealership in Melitopol.

It has been controlled by Russian military since early March, according to CNN.

The worth is roughly $5 million in all.

Each of the combine harvesters is worth a $300,000.

The process began with the confiscation of two combine harvesters.

A tractor, and a seeder, were involved.

Everything else was taken during the next three weeks.

Total 27 items of farm machinery have been looted.

One of the flat-bed vehicles utilized, was painted with a white “Z” and appeared to be a military truck.

There were rival groups of Russian troops.

Some would come in the morning and some in the evening.
