Ishaq Dar to participate in R-4 foreign ministers meeting in Cairo

Talks will focus on strengthening relations between Pakistan and Egypt

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will visit Cairo on June 21 to attend the fourth meeting of the R-4 Foreign Ministers, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He has been invited by Egypt Foreign Minister Dr Badr Abdelatty for this four nation gathering. The meeting will bring together foreign ministers from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and Pakistan.

They will discuss the current regional situation, along with issues related to peace, security, and stability. The focus will also be on improving cooperation between the participating countries.

During his visit, Ishaq Dar will also hold separate bilateral meetings with Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr Badr Abdelatty. These talks will focus on strengthening relations between Pakistan and Egypt and reviewing key areas of cooperation.

He is also expected to meet Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. This meeting will cover bilateral ties as well as broader regional developments. The visit reflects ongoing diplomatic engagement between Pakistan and Egypt and supports efforts to deepen cooperation with key regional partners.
